This is where we get down to the nitty-gritty.

I've worked at different accounting firms, so believe me when I say that larger accounting firms tend to add lots of time to their files through inefficiencies.

THE JOURNEY OF A FILE:
Usually a junior is responsible to complete your file.  The senior reviews the file. The file then goes to the manager for review. The manager reviews the file and gives it back to the senior, who takes a look and gives it back to the junior to fix. The file then goes back to the senior who gives it back to the manager. Once the manager has cleared all his/her quiries, it finally goes to the partner.  YOU GET THE POINT!   Bigger firms are great, they are filled with very seasoned professonals, but there are costs involved in having a "team" prepare your file.  Generally, YOU END UP PAYING WAY TOO MUCH!

I bypass this journey. I'm hands on with all my clients. I am able to answer questions about your file without having to double check the answers with anyone. 

So back to my fees…..
I like to let you know what my fees are up front. Because I can generally predict the amount of work involved, I've summarized my services with a few "packages" that you can choose from when deciding what level of service you would like.  GIVE ME A CALL AND I'LL GIVE YOU A BALLPARK AMOUNT.

Platinum Package -
This package includes:

• Financial Statements for your corporation with a Notice to Reader
  report attached.
• Corporate Income Tax returns - both federal and provincial
• Bookkeeping for the year (usually prepared annually - 1 page bank statements)
• GST returns prepared (PST return if needed)
• T4's prepared
• Personal tax returns (up to two basic returns)
• Unlimited phone calls during the year to ask for my advice or
  just to say hi!

Gold Package - 
This package includes:

• Financial Statements for your corporation with a Notice to Reader
  report attached.
• Corporate Income Tax returns - both federal and provincial
• GST returns prepared (PST return if needed)
• T4's prepared
• Personal tax returns (up to two basic returns)

Silver Package - 
This package includes:

• Financial Statements for your corporation with a Notice to Reader
  report attached.
• Corporate Income Tax returns - both federal and provincial
• GST returns prepared (PST return if needed).

Bronze Package - 
This package includes:

• Personal tax return for a sole-proprietorship
• GST returns prepared (PST return if needed).

Nickel Package - 
This package includes:

• Personal tax return including employment expenses
